Donald Neuen, Distinguished Professor of Conducting and Director of Choral Activities at the University of California, Los Angeles, teaches conducting, conducts the UCLA Chorale and Chamber Singers, and directs the graduate program in choral conducting. Neuen serves also as Artistic Director and Conductor of the Cathedral Choir of the Crystal Cathedral in Garden Grove, CA, and Director of the Angeles Chorale. He has guest-conducted choruses and orchestras in forty states and Canada, Mexico, Europe and Asia.

Donald Neuen studied under and was influenced by musicologist Julius Herford and Robert Shaw among others. Early in his career he was Assistant Conductor to Mr. Shaw and Director of Choral Activities for the Atlanta Symphony Orchestra. Through his subsequent university positions and dozens of summer workshops, Neuen has taught hundreds of conductors from around the world. He is widely regarded as an expert in the field of choral methods and conducting technique.

Prior to has appointment at UCLA, Neuen taught and directed choral activities for fourteen years at the Eastman School of Music. He received the B.M. and M.M. degrees from Ball State University. • See Products

Marie Stultz holds both bachelor's and master's degrees in music from Southern Methodist University. She has served on the faculty of the Boston Conservatory of Music, and her 2010 opera summer music academy will be based at the New England Conservatory Preparatory Division in a new partnership as part of continuing education.

A published composer as well as the author of Innocent Sounds~Building Choral Tone and Artistry in Your Children's Choir, Stultz is a leading authority on training treble voices. Stultz edits Innocent Sounds for Treble Chorus for MorningStar Music Publishers and she has been the choral researcher at Spectrum Music in Lexington, MA for over 25 years where she started writing a quarterly new-release newsletter, The Choral Room, in 1991. She is Founder of three major arts organizations: The Treble Chorus of New England, The Young Opera Company of New England, and The Young Classical Singers, all based in the Boston area.

She has received an ASCAP recognition award every year since 1996. Stultz just recently received her second citation from the Massachusetts State Senate in recognition of her contribution to the arts. • See Products

Dr. Patrick K. Freer is associate professor of choral music education at Georgia State University in Atlanta, offering programs at the baccalaureate, masters and Ph.D. levels. He holds degrees from Westminster Choir College and Teachers College, Columbia University.

Dr. Freer is a frequent guest conductor for all-state choruses and has made over seventy presentations at regional, national and international conferences in thirty-one states, Canada, Germany, Greece and Japan. He currently conducts the Georgia State University Women's Chorus and was named a 2009 VIsiting Scholar at James Madison University. He is a Visiting Associate Professor for thesis advising at Westminster Choir College of Rider University. Most recently, he conducted a 2010 Memorial Day program in Carnegie Hall, featuring the New Millennium Suite by Gwyneth Walker.

Dr. Freer's most recent books are Getting Started with Middle School Chorus (2nd Edition) and TIPS: The First Weeks of Middle School Chorus. Dr. Freer's articles have been published in most of the field's leading national and international journals. • See Products

Robert De Cormier is Founder and current Director of both the Vermont Symphony Orchestra Chorus and the professional choral ensemble Counterpoint. A graduate of the Juilliard School of Music, Mr. De Cormier's conducting engagements have taken him all over the world.

He has written several operas and arranged numerous folk and spiritual pieces. He was music director for the folk trio Peter, Paul and Mary for 27 years. Since the sad loss of Mary Travers in 2009, De Cormier has continued working with both Peter and Noel (Paul) and will be conducting a Holiday concert with them and the New York Choral Society (of which he is Conductor Emeritus) at Carnegie Hall in December, 2010.

Mr. De Cormier has served on the New York State Council for the Arts and has been a member of the Choral Panel of the National Endowment for the Arts. His awards include the Vermont Governor's Award for Excellence in the Arts, Lifetime Achievement Awards from Choral Arts New England and the New York Choral Society, and in 2007 an Honorary Doctor of Arts degree from Middlebury College. • See Products
